Retro Renovations

Enticed by her love of all things retro, Kim Richards, judge and host of style this space, made it her mission to create a retro inspired room to try and bring retro back into fashion, we here at Elle Décor believe that she has done just that. The way she’s used black and white as her main colour and drawn in bold colour such as red and yellow gives the perfect retro look. The low height of the sofa gives the room a bachelor pad look but, the cushions as well as the rug give the room that chic look that everyone loves. The wicker table with the white top gives off a bohemian yet fabulous vibe which we feel fits right in with the rest of the furniture. The use of colours on the shelf are just fabulous and bring this room to life, we think this room will bring retro back to life.

'Style This Space' is an interior design show that is hosted by Kim Richards and a pannel of brilliant judges such our own Michael Boodro editor in cheif of Elle Decor as well as Robert Bailey a canadian interior designer. We beileve thatthis estemed group of judeges will be able to deligate who the next great interior desiner will be. every week four amateur designers go head to head in two challenges to find out who the next great interior designer will be. the winner of the show will win £50,000 as well as a one year contract with Gensler design firms.
